Joint Minor Programme between University of Toronto and National University of Singapore
This new programme enables you to spend at least one semester at the University of Toronto (UofT), one of the world's best tertiary institutions renowned for its Environmental Science programmes and research. At UofT you take courses that add breadth and depth to your education in NUS. Both grades and credits are transferable. Upon successful completion of the programme, you will be awarded a joint minor by both universities.
Applications for the Joint Minor in Environmental Chemistry open on 25 January 2010. Don't miss this opportunity of a lifetime! Only 10 places are available for each joint minor! Deadline for applications is 26 February 2010.

Application for the AY2009/10 Outstanding Undergraduate Researcher Prize (OURP) is now opened
The call for application for OURP is now opened! First launched in AY2006/07, the competition aims to encourage research among undergraduates in NUS. Science students who are interested should submit your application by 24 March 2010 to the Science Dean's Office at S16 Level 2. For more information on OURP, please click here. -
Freshman Seminar
The Freshman Seminar is a popular and exciting module that offers 1st year students the opportunity to explore a scholarly topic with faculty members in a small group setting. Designed to orientate students to NUS intellectual community, the Freshman Seminar consists of a range of scientific topics, each taught by a scientist whose expertise and experience are in that field.
