| Research Programmes via Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) & Master of Science (M.Sc.) Degrees |
Research programmes provide training in a particular discipline or inter-discipline subject through independent investigation, study and experimental work, culminating in the submission of a thesis on the research undertaken. For each candidate, one or multiple supervisors are appointed. Candidates are required to attend the appropriate courses and sit for written and/or oral examinations. Candidates may have a chance to go abroad for research at one of our partner universities.

| Coursework Programmes via Master Degrees |
Coursework programmes are designed to meet the needs of working professionals who wish to advance their knowledge and careers in their chosen fields of specialization. The M.Sc. degrees are awarded once the candidates pass the relevant examinations in a prescribed number of modules. Candidates may also undertake a project in lieu of a certain number of modules. Students may enrol for some of these programmes on a part-time or full-time basis.
